**Temporary Permit:**
To ensure compliance with state regulations, all renters are required to obtain a Temporary Permit before operating the boat. Thankfully, the state has now contracted with a website where you can conveniently obtain the Temporary Permit online. This streamlined process allows you to secure your permit quickly and easily, so you can focus on having fun on the water.

**Boater Safety Course Exemption:**
Previously, completing a boater safety course was a requirement. However, we have some great news! If you choose to hire a driver from our driver pool, the boater safety course requirement is waived. Our skilled drivers are knowledgeable about boating regulations and safety measures, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone on board.

**Damage Deposit Waived:**
Another benefit of hiring a driver from our pool is that it removes the need for a damage deposit. Our drivers are independent contractors who operate separately from the rental process. This means that you won’t have to worry about any damage deposit when using our driver service.

**Active Military and Birth Date Exemption:**
We continue to honor our active-duty military members, who are exempt from the Temporary Permit requirement. Simply show your active-duty military ID, and you’re all set! Additionally, anyone born prior to January 1, 1984, is also exempt from the Permit requirement.

**Important Passenger Limit Update:**

At LOTO Boat Rental, safety is our top priority. We want to ensure that everyone has a fantastic time on the water while adhering to all regulations. As part of the Coast Guard Regulations, the total number of passengers on rental boats, including the driver, is strictly limited to 12, regardless of the boat’s capacity.

**Driver Policy:**
If you decide to hire a driver from our driver pool, please be aware that the hired driver will be counted as one of the 12 passengers allowed on the boat. Our drivers are skilled professionals who will enhance your boating experience by taking care of navigation and ensuring a safe journey for everyone on board.

Yes people fish and tube all the time. We currently no longer rent the fishing poles.  Ski tube rental is 10$ per hour. Sorry we do not sell bait.

Service area is the Main Channel (Osage arm) from Bagnell Dam the Zero Mile Marker to Margaritaville the 26 mm. Also up the Gravois arm to Coconuts and up the Grand Glaize arm to the 6 mm to the Original Party Cove.

Operating outside these areas is not recommended. Vessels from LOTO Boat Rental may not to go to the shootout boat races.

Service area subject to change without notice due to weather, flooding, debris or event concerns. Any change to the service area requested by customer must be approved in writing by Capt. Mark. Sorry no exceptions.

Security Deposit for the new boats is $400, Everything else is $300 or Zero if you hire a driver from our driver pool.

Not to be confused with the down payment made at time of reservation. The damage/security deposit is only a hold on your credit card during your rental time and not charged unless vessel is damaged etc. It is taken off when vessel is returned in good condition.

Please note due to health concerns all previous advance and current reservations placed until further notice will enjoy No Fault Cancellation. If there are still health or travel concerns and you wish to cancel, the down payment will be refunded less 6% for  processing.

We clean and sanitize all equipment between each use.

All cancellations or changes must be made by phone no cancellations will be accepted via text or email. Advance Reservation Fee is refundable with 48 hrs. notice prior to Scheduled Check In Time except Holidays, Holiday Weekends and Event Weekends when it is 14 Days, or in the event of Inclement Weather, less 3.5% Credit Card Processing Fee. In the event of cancellation less than 48 hrs. prior or in the case of 14 Days for Holiday/Event Weekends to scheduled check in, the renter will forfeit the advance reservation fee and if we are unable to rent the watercraft to another party the renter will be responsible for the full rental fee. No shows will be charged full price

Standard Cancellation PolicyWeekday rentals (M-Th.) must be cancelled 48 hours prior to scheduled check in time.

Weekend rentals (F-S) must be cancelled 14 days prior to scheduled check in time. Holiday/Holiday weekends must be cancelled 14 days prior to scheduled check in time.

Refunds do not include the 8% credit card processing fee. If a cancellation is less than 48 hours (M-Th.) or14 Days for Weekends/Holiday prior to scheduled check in you will forfeit the reservation down payment.

If it is a wash out for the day all advance payments will be refunded or if possible you may opt to reschedule If it is inclement for a portion of the day, your day’s charges may be prorated. LOTO Boat Rental is final arbitrator as to what constitutes a rain out.

GOOD WEATHER GUARANTEE For Multi Day Rentals. If any of your rental days is a complete washout, there is no charge for that day.
